Badsäsongen är en kombination av olika konstnärliga interventioner och utgår ifrån att bada tillsammans året runt i Sverige. Baden har dokumenteras med video, ljud, foto eller text. Här badar vi i Saltisbadet!

Det du ser och hör är människor som badar tillsammans. Till mina bad är alla välkomna. Oavsett vem du är så vill jag att du ska kunna känna dig representerad men då behövs också ditt deltagande. Alla våra kroppar är i vårt samhälle redan laddade med fördomar och strukturer. Därför försöker jag med mina bad ta bort det initialt sensationella av nakenheten och istället fokusera på det poetiska och utopiska med att se människor umgås utan att lägga värdering på varken kön, ålder, kroppsstorlek, etnicitet, socioekonomisk bakgrund eller andra maktstrukturer.

Swimming season (Badsäsongen) combines different artistic interventions and is based on bathing together all year round in Sweden. Baths have been documented with video, sound, photo or text. Here we swim in Saltisbadet!

What you see and hear are people bathing together. Everyone is welcome at my baths. Regardless of who you are, I want you to feel represented, but then your

participation is also needed. All our bodies are in our society already loaded with prejudices and structures. Therefore, with my baths, I try to remove the initial sensational aspect of nudity and instead focus on the poetic and romantic aspect of seeing people socializing without placing value on gender, age, body size, ethnicity, socio-economic background or other power structures.
